IOT4 Split External Sample Qty Usage Decision in QA11/QA32 EWM Inspection UI

Hi Everyone,

I hope there is someone out there who can help with my query.

I am integrating QM in ECC with Decentral EWM S4HANA.

I have an IOT4 inspection document where there is an external sample quantity line split occurring at the time of inspection creation based on the sampling procedure defined in the inspection plan for my product in ECC.

Using POSC my HU with the sample qty line item split is being directed to a quality workcentre whilst remaining HU's packed to the inbound delivery are directed to the destination bin in the warehouse.

When making a UD against the sample line item in the EWM Inspection UI in QA11/QA32 it is only the sample line item that I am making the usage decision against which is the behaviour I expect.

I am selecting the decision code (Accept) which has a follow up action assigned. I press the Trigger Follow-Up button and I select the Close HU button to complete the HU Step in my storage process and I get the following error message which I think is not the best message. It looks like 2 messages are being presented but the first isn't completely displayed.

As my open warehouse tasks are going into the warehouse I am confirming the remaining HU's to their destination bins which means the stock reference against these is lost whilst my sample quantity HU still has it. 

So now I only have my HU with my sample quantity line item in the quality workcentre, I try and post the UD again and I still get the same error message. I cannot close the HU step for the follow on task for the putaway to be created.

Has anyone seen this behaviour before? This is only happening for when I have a sample line item split in my handling unit. 100% inspection works as expected when I post a UD HU by HU.
