Thanks for the sharing the details. First and foremost when US is sending the demand to Canada over email, you can either have canada update the forecast manually or if feasible share a web view of the template with the KF Consensus forecast so that even US can update the same.
Now coming to the main where product ID is different between US and Canada for the same product. Thier are multiple ways thru which you can harmonize them.
1) If US & Canada uses the same IBP system with different PA then you can have shared MDT let say product mapping, where you can have 2 fields (e.g USPRDID and CAPRDID) and the MDT as a reference MDT where you can update the SKU relationship and based on that relationship you can use attribute transformation to transform the demand req from US PRDID to CANADA PRD ID.
2) If US is not in IBP yet and assuming that US and canada have the same ECC or S4 HANA system, thier you can either develop a custom table along with logic to map the US PRD to CANADA PRD and then use that custom table as an source for CPIDS to pull the data and update in IBP.
Their are few other ways as well, but the above 2 are the simplistic and more synchronious approach for the solution.

earlier we had two different Planning areas for US and CA, recently they merged into a single PA, with planning Unit CA/US.
So with in the Planning area, with two different product ID's forecast to be updated for Canada Demand Planners.

The scenario is, customer in US sending demand to our company in US, and further this US company sending demand to Plant in Canada through an email. Canada planners are manually updating Consensus forecast in IBP and selling to US Company (Inter company). In both the places (US and Canada) product number is different. now the requirement is what is the best way to send US demand to Canada plant(when having 2 different Product numbers for the same). will Copy operator or sourcing tables works?

Inter company sales is something that you design in your execution system like S4 HANA or ECC. Thier are primarily 2 approaches to it.
Inter company STO
SO PO process
But in IBP thier is nothing related to inter company sales as this is a planning tool and inter company sales is not a planinng process by a execution process closely integrated with MM and SD modules in SAP
