Integration of S/4 HANA QM with the S/4 HANA EWM in 1610

Hi Friends,
i am working on the S/4 HANA Implementation Project When i tried to integrate the QM i am unable to find the IOT's for the QM i only have single IOT Product/Batch & when i tried to install the BC Sets then i am getting the dump issue , i am also unable find any best practices is there any best practice or How to Guides or speed demos available , or any SAP Standard document is available , i am ready to buy also we are implementing for our client but don't know how to do , any help ?

Hello Vamsi I am facing a similar dilemma on my current project 1610 HANA with QM and Extended EWM. The current client process does have a partial UD that they perform. Wonder if you came across a workaround (would not opt a custom route especially with 1709 possibly providing this functionality). Any guidance will be very helpful.

Thanks Vamsi. Great help. BADI was activated. But i missed to select BADI option in drop down box. I did it now & is working perfectly.

I think embedded EWM on HANA still does not allow partial decision. i.e some stock into unrestricted & some in to blocked. I think it will come in upcoming release. With that should be possible to accept few HUs & reject few. Thank you.

Hi Phani,

Sorry for the late reply, this is external quality inspection in ECC QM this is not possible not only in S4 HANA & also in Normal EWM (Integration with ECC QM) if you are using QIE then it is possible as you are updating the local EWM tables for follow up action.

Sorry for delayed response. It is not the putaway or scrapping WT i need to create as follow on. In my case posting UD in ECC is not changing stock from quality to unrestricted. Anyway tried with follow on action with process type 1010. But posting change is not working.

So net, UD is not changing stock type from Q4 to F2. I tried posting /SCWM/POST for HU in stock. This changes stock type correctly from Q4 to F2. I also activated few BADIs. But nothing is leading to posting change from UD.

If you specifically want posting change then select the option as below

Implement the BADI Below with your abaper.

for details about how to implement & the purpose of the BADI read the docuementation besides the BADI as mentioned above , if you still have doubts then reply back

I am setting up same IOT4 in Decentralised EWM 9.2. I have also activated the same BADI above and also used the option X for the Follow up actions after UD. While in EWM the posting change is happening correctly after UD( ie Q4 to F2) , but the same message is not flowing back to ECC and chanmging the stock category from Quality to Unrestricted . I am expecting some material document to be posted in ECC also isnt it ?

Am I missing something in the last step? Please advise.

I am setting up QM integration with embedded EWM on S/4HANA 1611 01 (02/2017) FP. As per the release restriction. Only IOT-4 is available. This inturn has 3 process. GR from purchase order, GR from production & Samples. Currently only GR from purchase orders is supported.

I have done configuration on both sides. Inspection lot gets created on posting GR in EWM(no inspection document any more). But doing UD in QA32 does not trigger posting change. However inspection lot gets completed. Did lot of R&D in system without success. Can you help with steps needed for setup, incase u have done it. Thanks.

What did you maintained in the follow up action i mean for EWM_A & EWM_D did you maintain the stock type & WPT for example for EWM_D ( BB + Scrapping + 4020 or your own ) , EWM_A( FF + 1010 or your own) ,please check & let me know.

My mail goal is to see ECC UD doing stock posting change. This is not happening. So thought posting is influenced by followon function. In assign logistical follow-up actions assigned WH no+Follow up action to 'IOT4'. Did not assign process type for putaway or scrapping. Just want posting change from UD being executed for stock type change. Any idea what is needed to do this?

Hi Phani,

When you select A for example you have to assign this to EWM_A so that EWM_A will be populated automatically.

if this done you have to maintain these settings.

Please create follow up action with Int. follow up code XBAdI: Follow-Up Action (WT cancel/upd, PostChg, WT creation).

BAdI Definition:/SCWM/EX_QFU_STOCK_ACTION and Already default BADI Implementation for posting change.

Method : /SCWM/IF_EX_QFU_STOCK_ACTION~MANAGE_POSTING_CHGManage Posting Change after Decision

Could you solve the Problem with EWM /QM Integration on S/4 Hana? I'm facing the same Problem. I'm curretly implementing embbeded EWM with QM functionnality. I couldn't find any documentation related to the Topic... Do you have any and could you share it with me?

I am done with it there is also an SAP Note to apply in system 2366975 when ever a inspection lot generated then the batch of the item10 is copied to batch of the remaining items even though the batch of the item 20 is different so to avoid this you need to apply this note.
