Dears,
Why did SAP Combine both these animals viz. Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions under one object in CFM1 and CFM2? Unlike e.g. Planned Orders and Production orders that are different animals. Then of course POs and PreQs include a whole range of internal and external procurement plans.
Thanks
Amit

Hello,
SAP can only answer such question. Why don't you raise this to SAP?
In repetitive manufacturing we have only planned order not the production orders.
However in discrete manufacturing or process manufacturing you will have both planned and production/process order. So if you have one plant in repetitive manufacturing and another discrete manufacturing then it better to control the CIF of planned and production order base on CIF IM. Which is not the case with purchasing.
