Hi All,
I want to use custom forecasting algorithm, written is R, and use that to generate baseline forecast in IBP. For smooth operational activity, I am trying to find out if the integration between IBP and R Studio is possible in 2005.2.0 version, which my organization is using. From one of the thread titled "IBP Forecast models", I came to know that it is in the roadmap of IBP (IBP Road Map, slide 38) and was planned to be available in release 2005. If it is possible in this version, I would be grateful if I get to know the process.

I keep an eye out for extensibility topics, your question got me curious. Current roadmap says 2022 now. Today, I think oData or CPI DS integration to transfer the needed data back and forth is required to make use of an external engine. built in integration with external eengine isnt available yet.
Planned for 2022 Disclaimer
Extensibility of forecasting with custom algorithms from R studio

Hi Ram Christopher Guevara,
Thanks a lot for your advice and clarification. My understanding is, using oData or CPI DS, we can extract data from IBP and feed it into R Studio for analysis or data visualization purpose. But using these integrations, is it possible to inject the output from R studio into IBP, in form of some key figure ? In my case, I want to inject Stat Forecast generated in R into IBP. Thanks in advance.
Regards, Sobhon
Yes, I am sure for CPI DS and I've read recently oDATA interface support read and write for keyfigures

CPI DS is well documented and I assume your organization is already using it. You can reach out to your platform owner and start a conversation there. Perhaps review the relevant CPI DS datastore options vs whats used in RStudio's backend
For the OData seems the write back to IBP is only recent innovation, the service API is described here
Good luck!
