Integrate Product Allocation data from SAP IBP to S4

Dear SAP colleagues,

Good day!

We are exploring an automatic integration of Product Allocation planning data from SAP IBP to S4. Would like to get some insights on how did you manage this in your previous project engagement? Two possibilities that we are looking at are to prepare and send the data via:

1- Flat file - store the data somewhere and be able to pick-up the same via Manage Product Allocation Planning Data app in S4.

2- BW - store the data in S4 BW infra and then create a Z program to pick it up and run the program on a regular basis.

Any additional insights will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

there are also APIs that are provided for Product Allocation:

• Product Allocation Object
• Also have a look to the SAP API Business Hub and search for 'Product Allocation'

Using the APIs you can transfer the data according to your needs.
