Initial or Periodic Data Transfer FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS

Hello ALL, We have a new Implementation for FSCM, means we are moving from legacy to S4, and we have all the new BPS and no invoices yet created. for this scenario do we need to run program FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS as "Initial Data transfer" or periodic ?

Hi mukeshreddy,

The idea is the following: if you roll-out an existing company code for collections management, this company code has already some open items, which should be sent to collections management. To do that, you execute the program with "Initial data transfer". Afterwards, you can execute the program periodically to update the data with newly posted open items. So if you activate collections managements for a new company code, you can skip the initial data transfer and just opt for periodic update.
