Hi guys,
Is there a way in SAP wherein if a specific job (which triggers child jobs) runs, the total number of background workprocess increase?
We want to increase the total number of background work processes available when a job triggers.
Please advise.
The job runs on a specific time, like during the night?
You could achieve what you want with operation modes: Step by Step setting up Operation mode for beginers, Operation Modes in SAP

That's exactly the scenario were operation modes was created, during the day you need more dialog processes to answer the business users and during the night you can decreases the number of dialog processes and instead increase the number of background jobs. The total number of processes never change across all day.
