Inbound Packing

Dear Experts,

Would it be possible to pack an inbound delivery already packed from ERP ?

Example : 10 PC of Material M1 is packed into handling unit HU1 in ERP system. When the HU is transferred to EWM system a new HU, HU2 must be created. HU1 must be packed into HU2.

We can pack from Source HU to Target Hu as per the screen shot.

Hi,

Yes repacking the existing HU from the incoming Inbound delivery is a normal practice. Check below steps"-

Create IBD in ECC with HU - BOX1

Goto /scwm/prdi --> follow-on function -->pack

Create new HU using packing material PAL1

BOX1 is packed onto a pallet.
