Inbound Delivery processing error: Deficit of PL Stock in transit XX PC : XXXXXX XXXX in SMQ2

Dear all,

I am using embedded EWM in S4 system 1809.

This is a Purchase scenario with NB purchase Order, EL inbound delivery. Delivery distributed in EWM and goods receipted successfully but its failing to update the inbound delivery. The SMQ2 log says :

Deficit of PL Stock in transit XX PC : XXXXXX XXXX in SMQ2

The BP used in PO is of role: FLVN01, CRM007, BBP003. The BP has however the plant assigned.

The same BP is used as Ent. to Dispose.

Tried un-assigning the plant from BP but then the delivery distributed to EWM came as errors.

Please check if the material is extended to both ROD and AFS storage locations.

when you post the GR goods stay in ROD location and on Putaway they move to AFS location. If material extension is not done, then, you get errors like these.
