Inbound delivery needed for EWM or not?

Hi All,

I am new here, do we need to have inbound delivery (must) in embedded EWM S4 Hana?

I which cases, it is preferred to have an inbound delivery and in which cases not? for example syncronous goods movement. 

please suggest.

" -> As per my experience, In case Advance Shipping Notification (ASN)  then you need inbound delivery otherwise not require if vendor/Supplier truck arrives without any notification. you can directly GR then create tasks for further Putaway...
