In Shipper Scenario ,How we can Explode Multiple Stages in Freight Unit from Sales order /Delivery ?

I am Working in a Shipper Scenario ,where we have a business requirement that we need to create Multiple Stages in Freight Unit from the Sales Order /Delivery .

SAP have provided the Concept of Default Route explode in Freight Unit based on the Default route we create as Master data in SAP TM. But SAP also Provided the limitation of only having one Route as Default ,we can't use multiple Default route in a FUBR .

Eg: Sales Order created from LOC A to LOC C . Default Route is maintained from LOC A to LOC B and LOC B to LOC C . we use one FUBR Y_XXXXX in LIP .

So we need to create Multiple Default route in system which increase Master data in volume .

Is there any other SAP Best Practice to reslove the Issue like Stage Profile we can use in LSP scenario based on the Movement type.

Please reply if there are any alternative ?

If the requirement is to create multiple stages in Freight Unit as soon as Sales Order is saved,  "Default Route" setup is only option. 

Please note, if you have multiple default route form same source and destination, system will randomly pick one.
