In S4 HANA- BOP Job does not update certain SO type

Hi Experts,

System : S/4 HANA 1709 ( There is no APO involved)

We are experiencing an issue in BOP (back order processing) jobs which does not update confirmation for certain sales orders .The issue has been observed only for order type which has 'Indicator field set up with value 'B-Delivery order' in the SO order type config.

can you pls share what is the usage of this field? why BOP does not include these orders.

Any additional info on this subject would be helpful.

Here is the screen shot for VOV8 for the sales order type.

We are creating sales order with the below order type with reference to scheduling agreement.

Please refer SAP note 2802208 - Restriction Note for advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP) in SAP S/4HANA 1909

Scheduling agreements with call-offs and non-delivery relevant document types -

Mass availability checks for non-delivery relevant document types such as quotations, use the rescheduling function available in transaction V_V2; therefore do not activate aATP for material-plant combinations which are used for those document types. Explanation: Not implemented (to be addressed in a future SAP S/4HANA release).

Yes. The SO is available in VBBE and MD04...I can able to confirm the qty manually in VA02.

However the BOP job gives an error message for these orders 'Sales document ID Delivery order not supported' and skips these orders.

Can you see the Sale orders in VBBE table or MD04 for B-Delivery order indicator SO order type?

Are you able to perform manual ATP check in VA02 on these orders?

Deliver order like TAM should create with reference to scheduling agreement with cumulative delivery quantity.
