Hello,
By default in 0001, SAP has predefiend stock type default as F1, F2, S6, B6,....for couple of Slocs.
We have 50+ Sloc in total across many Plants for 1 EWM warehouse code. We can create unique Availability Group for all 50+ Sloc's. But When it comes to assigned to assigning to Stock Type, I found that in table /SCWM/TCAT, Warehouse and Stock Type are primary key combination. So if F2 used once for any one Availability Group(SLOC) can't be used for any other Availability Group(SLOC). So what is the best way to have a nomenclature for different type of Stock.
Max length of Stock type is CHAR 2. So if I use Alpha numeric then I can achieve max 1296 combination without following nomenclature which I can achieve what I need. But think from Business that having random code may confuse them. But that can be solved by having same description for same type of Stock Type with different code.
I am looking for any better way(suggestion) who has implemented in real time. As in future many Plant and Sloc would be added to same warehouse. If my understanding wrong then please correct me.
Regards,
Mihir

Hello,
just for clarification are we talking about a lot per plant or a lot in general. Because you can use party entitled to dispose for each plant and then use same stock types.
