IM Cycle count with limit to max no.of items per Physical Inventory Document

Hi Experts,

Currently we have a batch job running once every week for the IM cycle counting (MICN)

Issue: System creates multiple Physical Inventory docs with 20 items (Max no. of items) each not stopping at one document once the job runs for that week. This way it creates many Physical Inventory docs to be counted in a week which the client doesn't require.

Expected : Only one physical inventory document is to be created with 20 items (Max no. of items given in the variant - MICN selection screen).

Eg - 110 items to be counted with CC indicators (A,B,C,D)

PI doc 1 - 20 items
PI doc 2 - 20 items
PI doc 3 - 20 items
PI doc 4 - 20 items
PI doc 5 - 20 items
PI doc 6 - 10 items

Expected is to create only PI doc 1  - 20 items and stop.

Do we have any resolution for this in the standard ?

Hi

The field only restricts to create number of items per inventory document, but did not restrict to create more inventory documents

You need to enter more selection criterio for materials, plants, etc to restrict to create only one document with 20 items.
