IBP Workaround UOM conversion in Order Based

Does anyone know if there is any workaround to have UOM conversion in OBP?

Hello Carlos,

To use the UOM conversion in Order based planning , you have to configure the UOM same way it works for the "Time series" planning area.

- Create and add the UOM MDT (ABCUOMTO) in the planning area

-Create UOM conversion factor as attribute as key figure (UOMCONVERSIONFACTOR@PRODUOMTO). You can automate the load by using CPI-DS or data integration file upload.

-Create planning Level with UOM by copying your OBP planning level . Example Copy PERPRODLOC to PERPRODLOCUOMTO and add ABCUOMTO. The external data source and reference column field is not required.

-Create time series KF with UOM conversion enabled . Default the Order series KF in the calculation.

Example,

ABCSTOCKINITUOM@REQUEST = SUM(ABCSTOCKINITUOM@PERPRODLOCUOMTO)

ABCSTOCKINITUOM@PERPRODLOCUOMTO = ABCSTOCKINITUOM@PERPRODLOC * UOMCONVERSIONFACTOR@PRODUOMTO

ABCSTOCKINITUOM@PERPRODLOC = STOCKINIT@PERPRODLOC
