IBP Web Based Planning Attribute Display

When I am creating an Web Based Planning view - if I bring in the attribute PRDID, it is displaying the Product Description (i believe this is due to the fact that within the Product Master Data - the description is defined as the 'Description Attribute')

Is there a way to force the Web Based Planning to show the attribute I select rather than the description of the attribute? This occurs with any MD type that has the Description Attribute defined within the Master Data setup.

Hi drbanning,

Planner Workspaces already offers more capabilities than Web-Based Planning. Planning views created in Web-Based Planning can be easily consumed in Planner Workspace.

Steps to be followed:

1. Assign the Planner Workspaces catalog (SAP_IBP_BC_PWS_PC) to the business role

2. Create a new Planner Workspace

3. Drag the planning view component into the canvas, select the planning view created in Web-Based Planning and save the Planner

Workspace

4. (Optional) Share the Planner Workspaces created with other users or user groups

In the workspace settings, you have space for Description attributes - which you can modify the attribute to see in Description or IDsscreenshot-2023-03-22-095326.png. Refer the screenshot for reference.

Note: The Web Based Planning apps will be deprecated as part of release 2308. Customers are asked to use Planner Workspaces instead. In release 2402 the named apps will be removed.
