IBP unconstrained Heuristic

Hello,

in the last what's new session 2002, inbound calender was a topic.

in the presentation was mentioned, that the inbound calender is only available for the unconstrained heuristic. Which of the three possible heurisitc meant with unconstrained ?

Hi Oliver,

Inbound calendars are only available for below planning alogorithms:

1. Time-series-based supply planning heuristic

2. Time-series-based supply planning optimizer

The other planning algorithm such as below does not support inbound calendars:

1. Supply Propogation heuristic

2. Finite Heuristic

3. Shelf life planning heuristic

Hello Satish,

thanks for the response.

For my understanding, all heuristics in S&OP and Supply are time - series based heurisitcs. Also the propagation heurisitc, shelf life heuristic and so on.

For that reason, my quesstion is, if all heuristics can use this or not. But I see at the moment, that Praveen answered my questions
