IBP TS Optimizer is creating Receipts (Master data missing?)

Hello,

I'm currently facing an issue that probably there is some master data missing but I can't find the issue, hope some expert can help as it is a simple problem.

The case is:

2 locations (Plant, DC) are NOT marked as a location type "v" since they are not vendors in my scenario

--Product A has a Source ID type "P" in location Plant

--Product B does not have a Source ID in location Plant

- Product A has a LocationSource from Plant to DC (T-Line)

-Product B DOES NOT have a LocationSource from Plant to DC

-Product A has a valid combination in PRODLOC table (for Plant and DC)

-Product B doesn't have a combination in PRODLOC , it doesn't has a record created there

Results I'm getting

-Transport Receipts from Plant to DC for Product A - GOOD , no problem here

-"Receipts" KF from (null) to DC for Product B -- wrong, since I don't have a location source for that product-location

Summary: I'm getting "phantom" receipts for a combination that I 'm not planning or aware of (product B into DC)

Sounds like a master data issue to me, but can't seem to get it right just yet.

As a side note , Location does not have any type of demand for Product B.

Stock just arrives and is projected to stay there forever.

Hello Germán Lugo,

that sounds strange. Do you maybe have MINTRANSPORTRECEIPTs or INVENTORYCORRECTIONs for B at your DC?

Hmm. Easiest way to analyze this, is then probably via an optimizer diagnosis file. If you don't want to attach it, please open an according Incident.
