IBP : translation for period name in header Excel

Hi,

I'm trying to use IBP in French. I have activated the French in the Fiori tile. I have translated my template. Everything is fine, except the header for time period.

We can see weeks displayed in "CW" for Calendar Week.

In French, I would like to have a "S" for "semaine" instead of "CW".

How can I do that?

Thanks,
Marion

You can have additional attributes to the time profile that provide you with additional information that you can display in addition, but you still have to go with the classical header, sorry

What you could do -if you really must- in Excel is to hide that header line and add an extra line above, make an excel formula that reads the hidden header and display the value in a different converted format

That would only work in Excel, not in any web UI, so if you use both it is not a good idea because it would lead to confusion. Would be only or very specific use cases, eg planner really only use Excel.

Good idea, it could work for local planners that only uses Excel. Thanks for your help!

The header for the time profile is not language dependent. You need to find a description in the loading of the time profile that is meaningful in all languages

Thanks Irmhild. I was hoping there was a workaround...! But OK, I will do that. Thanks.

Hi Marion,

Please check your time profile. You would have maintained the 'PERIODDESC' in English. Change it to French and update your time profile and check the planning view.

Thanks and Regards,

Lokesh

Thanks Lokesh, but what can I do if I have Users connected in English and users in French?
