IBP Templates. Adding cell filling in IBPFormattingSheet with different time periods

Hi, Colleagues!

When I add in IBPFormattingSheet filling with any color for a key figure, cells fill with any color for a given period (for exaple, 5 weeks). But then, if I want see data for less time period (for example, 3 weeks), filling for 5 time period remains.

Step 1: Add cells filling with yellow: w05-w09

Step 2: Change time period to w05-w07 (cells filling remains for w05-w09)

Question is, can I do anything for this filling remains only for chosen period (not for the longest period). Now for avoiding this, I can only delete rows or columns with filling or manually change filling of cells without data, but automatically filling don't disappear.

Thanks!

BR, Viktoriia

Hi Viktoriia

Mark the "Clear planning view format before applying Dynamic Formatting" within the Sheet Options to fix this issue.

This KBA addresses a similar case:

2895828 - IBP: Editable Key Figures does not get grayed out after Time Horizon on the Planning View Template

Hi Viktoriia,

Apply EPM formatting in Dimension Member/Property Formatting section by adding key figures in the planning view under Row - Formatting on Specific Member/Property section. You need to highlight the number with background color in the Data column.

Once done, depending on the number of periods pulled in the planning view, system automatically highlights data of the selected periods.

Hope this helps!!

Hi, Piyush!

Thanks very much for your comment, but unfortumately it doesn't help. The steps, that you mentioned I've already done before, but the problem, that I described remains.

May be can you share .xlsb example file for I try to check it in my planning area and look at all the settings in EPM?
