How to set up Source of Supply optimization in IBP , what are the input keyfigures
what are the out put keyfigures
what all master data templates I need to upload
Scneario
I want to consider cost from contracts to vendors and consider that cost for source of supply optimization
HUB X
Cost in contract for vendor A $ 50
Cost in contract for vendor B $ 60
Cost in contract for Vendor C $ 45
So my optimizer should select vendor C based on Cost as cot for vendor is the lowest cost
Request clarification before answering.

Hi Nicole - I think you need to spend some good time on help content for this, anyways: I can cover some on a broader level:
For Master Data (other than many other simple / compound data types, below is what you need MUST),
For KFs, you may use the below list I guess:
At HUB:
At Vendor:
Hope this helps, but to have a clear picture on what's all needed: I suggest to spend some time on help.
Thanks,

HI Ankur,
What would be the in put and output keyfigures for optimizer with External source of supply optimization for my above scenario ?
As its not clear from the help documentation
Base planning level: Product – Location
This input key figure models the cost per product unit and period for external receipts for a location product. External receipts can be used to model the purchase of products that are entered in the supply chain (or for other receipts that are not specified further and detailed within the supply chain network in SAP Integrated Business Planning).
Base planning level: Product – Location
This input key figure models a fixed cost for each period in which external receipts for a location product are not zero.

Hi,
You can use externalreceiptcostrate as input key figure to model the cost for external vendor.
The output can be seen in extermal receipts key figure.
Thanks,
Rohit
