IBP Supply: Is planning area UNIPA1805 ready for an optimization using Aggregated Constraints?

Hi all,

we are testing the IBP Supply (Starter Edition).
We have added Aggregated Constraints values for planning level:

Cal.Weekly | Product | Location | Ship-From Location (AGGCALWKPRODLOCSRCAGG)

Keyfigure:

Maximum Aggregate Production Receipts (MAXAGGPRODUCTION),
but the Time Series Based Optimizer, does not consider these constraints at all (even the SOP-Operator Profile is set to OFF for "Allow violations of minimum aggregated constraints for production.").

Is this a Problem of technical and calendar week, maybe?

Hi Michael,

Maximum Aggregated Constraints are Hard Constraints, hence they are never violated. So make sure you are looking at their alleged violations in the exact same level defined for their Planning Levels.

If you cannot identify where the issue is, I suggest you creating an incident under component SCM-IBP-SUP-OPT and please provide the Optimizer dump by following the instructions of SAP Note ##2380705 , specifically to section b) Time-series-based supply planning optimizer run (parameter OPT_DIAGNOSIS_LEVEL).
