IBP Supply and Inventory Optimizer Common inputs

Hi Experts

I have a question with regards to the common inputs between the inventory and supply optimizer, as an example Maximum Inventory being an input to both Optimizer but the input being two separate key figures namely IOMAXINVENTORY for inventory Optimization and MAXINVENTORY for Supply optimization. Does one have to maintain both key figures if both optimizers are used . If both need to be maintained can one be maintained as a calculation equal to the other or does it need to be a stored value to be used by the optimizer.
