Hi Oliver,
A Location cannot be defined as "storage location". This concept is for Resources, which have 3 options: Storage, Handling and Production.
I don't think there should be any problem to assign several Resources (e.g. Storage and Production) to this Plant. To define a Storage Resource, you should maintain Attribute RESOURCETYPE = '1' in the MDT Location Resource.
See Help Portal Location Resource.
In case this solution doesn't fit for you, then I believe Ankur's suggestion could work as well: split the plant into 2 Location IDs, one as a Plant and one as a "Storage Location" (that is, having a Storage Resource assigned to it).
Best regards,
Matheus

Hi Matheus,
thanks for the answer. But I'm a little bit confuse, In your first answer, you described, that I need a storage location and a production location.
And in your second answer you wrote that a location cannot be defined as a storage location. but what is a DC in this moment? This is a storage location. Right ?

Hi Oliver,
You mentioned you wanted your Plant (I assume it should produce something here) to also be a Storage location. To achieve this, you could try to assign Production and Storage Resources to this Plant. Hence, it'd be a Production and Storage Plant.
The concept of Storage and Production is for Resources, which have 3 options: Storage, Handling and Production.

Matheus
Hi Oliver,
You cannot have a single location as a plant as well as a storage location. One and the only option for you is to split that plant into two Location ID, one as Plant and another one as Storage Location. Doing so you will have to update all other relevant master data also.

Ankur
