Is there a way to prevent the STAT forecast from flowing into the demand qty Key Figure. Every time we run the stat forecast the demand planners have to clean up the demand planning key figure since the stat fcst flows into the demand planning qty key figure.
Thanks

Hello Zoran
take a look into my screenshot and focus where I have highlighted it in yellow

The first one is where you can choose the KF which you want to consider as input for your forecasting. The 2nd is is where you will be interested in. This is where we define the outpt KF where we want the result of the forecasting to be saved.. You can simply chnage it to some other custom KF that you have created.

Excellent. Thanks I will do that. One more question...Can I just make a copy of the Statistical Key Figure to create my new custom KF?
Thanks

How do you remove the defaulting?

Hi Zoran,
I am assuming that you are taking a test run for STAT Forecast and the results are defaulting to the demand planning qty key figure. If so, then work on the simulation runs and analyze your forecast results. This will not copy values to the Demand planning qty key figure.
If not testing, then remove defaulting the stat forecast key figure to demand planning qty key figure (key figure configuration changes) and use copy operator profile to copy the stat forecast values into demand planning qty key figure when you wish to copy.
If the above suggestions are not helping, please elaborate your issue with key figure definitions.
Thanks and Regards,
Lokesh
