Dear Experts,
We are having problems because we cannot see the dependent demand of an item/component used by a Subcontractor and source by one of our Manufacturing Plants.
I tried to illustrate the case below. The subcontractor (SubCon "Q01") makes a product ("A") packing an item ("X") that we produce at Plant "B02". IBP is generating Plan Requirements (Purchase Requisitions) at the Subcontractor but even though the MD is in IBP we cant see the dependent demand on the item.
The only way I found to generate the Dependent Demand at the Subcontractor was when I change the Source Type from U to P and the figures were visible without having to make any other changes. This solution is not ideal because then IBP would generate Plan Production/Manufacturing Orders sent to SAP when it should be Purchase Requisitions to convert into Purchase Orders in SAP
What should we do to generate dependent demand of items at purchase at a Subcontractor?
The Scenario is a follows:

Thank you very much in advance for taking your time on this

Request clarification before answering.
Only way to generate dependent demand in IBP is Source type = P (This way system also respects minimum lot size and rounding value attributes)
1. You entire output will come in KF "Production Receipt" because everything has source type = P
2. Use some KF syntax to divide into 2 KF (1 for True Production Receipt and other for subcon Receipt), you can use some Product master attribute to classify and differentiate them
3. Use Calculated KF for True Production receipt to send to SAP as planned order
4. Use Calculated KF for Subcon Receipt to send to SAP as subcon Purchase Req.
Thanks
Girish
