IBP - Segment Condition - rules segmentation

Hello,

in the OBP segmentation it is necessary to define rules. In this case, I found the rule vocabulary

IBPRM_VV_DMFCE

Two questions for that:

- give it further more vacabulary? and if yes, how I can find them?

- what is the sense of this ?

Hi Oliver,

As a planner, we want to prioritize the Customer demand( Sales order and Forecast) for order fulfilment based on the business requirements.

To do that, we have to define the conditions that prioritize the demand in segments of a rule using the Rules for Demand Prioritization app.

The demand prioritization rules should be aligned with Business goals of the Customers.

For example, give highest priority to regular customers who buy in bulk

(Ex: Customers with Customer Classification ‘01’, will have the highest priority compared to other Customers).

Based on the above requirement, you can prioritize the Customer01 demands in the segment condition.

Segment1:

MRP_TYPE of the IBPRM_VV_DMFCE = 'VC' and CUSTOMER_CLASSIFICATION of the IBPRM_VV_DMFCE = '01'

Segment2:

MRP_TYPE of the IBPRM_VV_DMFCE = 'PR' and CUSTOMER_CLASSIFICATION of the IBPRM_VV_DMFCE = '01'

Note: MRP Type ‘VC’ for Sales order and MRP type ‘PR’ for forecast

So that system tries to fulfill the highest priority customer demand first and next priority will be given other customer demands.
