Hello Experts,
I have created a permission filter with Attributes lets say A1, A2, A3 and Key figures K1. User is trying to edit an entry for Key Figure K1 with A1, A2 and A3 attributes filtered in template selected.
User have access to Template and permission filter for the respective Planning Area. But still user is getting some error message while editing
"Your write permission filter does not include the cell's key figure / attribute combination. If you think you should be able to edit these cells, contact your administrator (1 Change)"
This is frustrating. Even after assigning the required attribute and Key figure combination it is not working. I tried with test user by logging off and On from Excel Add - in but no use.
The keyfigure value is allowed to editable in past as per configuration and also, I am testing to edit for past values only.
Please help.
Regards,
Surya

Hi Surya,
If the Permission Filter assigned to the end user really gives him WRITE access to the Key Figure in question, do make sure that it also gives access to the combinations itself.
It may be that you are updating values on a higher level and the updated changes will be dis-aggregated to the base planning level, and the permission filter does not give access to those objects.
If you feel that everything is really well configured, then I suggest raising an incident on SCM-IBP-SEC-VF component with full steps to reproduce the issue and credentials from the user affected, so that it can be investigated further by SAP Support.
Best,
Ivan

Have you also checked the "Auto-fill" box for the Permission Filter in question?

Hi Surya,
Did you also set-up the attributes & users in the "Manage Attribute Permissions" app?
You need to give permission for those A1, A2 & A3 attributes in that app and assign to the users. Please do this and try again and confirm.

Hi Surya,
Are A1, A2, A3 records of the same attribute? If yes, say PRDID and user is trying to enter data at higher level e.g. Product Family, if there is any other attribute record say A4 which belongs to that Product Family, system will not allow to enter data at higher level.
Also, is the key figure conversion enabled? If yes, make sure you add conversion attributes (base and target) in permission filter definition.
Please share the details if issue persists.
