Hi experts,
I am trying to run an scenario in IBP excel add in clicking on creation.
The thing is that after creating it I modify the baseline and select both (scenario created and baseline) on edit view and both figures are the same.
Is there anything I am missing?
Thanks!

Hi,
the scenarios are, once created, basically just a transparent layer over the baseline numbers. If baseline changes, then also the scenario changes accordingly. It is being kept "initial" until you change something in the scenario. Then, its kept independent from the baseline.
Once your promote the scenario, its being initialized again.
It is different with versions, where you copy over the data and it is kept independent from the start. Depending on the use case, one or the other might be a better fit.
Best Regards,
Anna

Please let me know why you selected scenario ..... to support what business requirement's.
In general in scenario copy the base line KF and planner change the demand or other KF run supply etc and review and compare with base line and if scenario revised calculation looks good to management then copy that scenario in base line( promote)
Please check what is yopur requiremnts
