IBP-S&OP excel add-in extended with "default display horizon future" it not displayed for planning.

hi team,

we want to plan in excel addin for 10 years from now .

we are using S&OP ADDIN for excel, version 3.0.4.1

existing time profile is till 2040

default display horizon future for granularity year was 5 , now changed to 10 .

we have maintained from WMQY Changed accordingly in proportion to other granularity.

After executing excel add-in , filter-in TIME PERIOD -drop down we can see till 5years for planning unable to select beyond 5 years.

do we need to maintain any global parameters.

can you please suggest.

I think you've updated horizon in time profile. You need to change Planning Horizon in planning area fiori app to 10 years in future. Activate the planning area, re-login to SAP IBP Excel Add In and check.

b) have you enhanced the horizon in the planning area setting?

no there is no global parameter

the only things you need is

- enhance in the TP configuration the settings in the header with the from and to DATE, activate TP

- load new file for TP with the enhanced horizon

- adjust in the planning area configuration (NOT the TP configuration, that is only the default display value in Excel) the TO period for the bucket YEAR

- activate planning area

If you did all that, you may try with deleting the meta data / cache in your Excel planning view

If that all does not help, you minimum need to post screenshots of your settings. But if you really did all that correctly, you would need to open an OSS ticket as without look into the system I have no further idea
