IBP Response + Storage Resource

Hi all

How could we set-up in SAP IBP for Response, a storage resource?

Would this be considered by Constrained Forecast using Optimizer?

Hi Carlos,

IBP for response only supports Production resource.

Storage Resource is currently not supported in IBP for response

Hi Carlos,

Please follow the below steps:

1. Define the resource in MDT: RESOURCE.

2. Assign the Resouce with Location in LOCATIONRESOURCE MDT. Maintain the Capacity supply along with Resource Type = 1 (here Res Type 1 means Storage Resource).

3. Maintain LOCATIONPRODUCTRESOURCE MDT i.e. consumption rate needs to be maintained @ Location Product Resource.

Note: mark X in "time series indicator" if need capacity supply same for every period of the planning horizon
