IBP original Snapshot

Hello,

I have my forecast accuracy visibility in Excel. Now I want create a snapshot of this forecast accuracy.

I create a "original" snapshot in the configuration app and start about excel the snapshot algortihm. But the snapshot kf are empty.

Can you help me?

I would use the COPY or DISAGG operator for it, not the snapshot which is overwriting rolling. OK, it is more work because you have to create the key figures manually, but you can better assign which periods to copy where-to and you don't need any offset.

Still, I don't get what you really want to achieve in detail. I understand you want to capture the FC accuracy over time. But where is your

("Model Fit Error: MAPE" calculated in the first place? From naming convention, it is the kf without period used in the stat. FC run itself, and you have brought the one value it provides into all future periods by configuration, correct? But than you only need to capture one value per each period. So with e.g. copy operator you can copy with no offset any only one period the value into a new kf, and week by week you build up your historical FC accuracy. Is that your aim?

you're right. This is, what I want and my first idea and attempt was, to create a copy operator. But this was not working. I create a new kf, how you descriped and than I start the copy oper.

but the new kf was empty.

that was the reason, why I try it with snapshots

the reason, why I start the snapshot way is, that I create a forecast accuracy. This fcst accuracy is visibility in Excel (See screenshot "FCST Accuracy").fcst-accuracy.jpg

You can see, that the values always the same in every periode. But the planer want to see, how the accuracy will change. For that, the result should be, that I will see, how the accuracy was for wk 45, wk 46, wk 47 and so on.

My idea was now, that I create a snapshot of this kf ("Model Fit Error: MAPE"). If I start every wk this snapshot, at the end, I can see, how the vaules were changed after the last weeks.

But this is not working. I create a snapshot (configuration app -> maintain snapshot konfiguration-> see screenshot snapshot-configuration.jpg

I can start this snapshot via excel (see screenshot excel-start.jpg)

but the snapshot kf is empty.

At the meanwhile, I have two points:

- first the accuracy for each periode

- create a snapshot

Hi Oliver,

What do you mean by "and start about excel the snapshot algortihm." ?

Please provide more details like screenshots on the snapshot configuration created by you, the snapshot operator job settings + results, and the planning view with the Snapshot KF as well.

Without more details it is impossible to guess what happened.
