IBP Order Based Planning: Can order based use distribution receipt to create sales orders?

Hi everyone,

Working with SAP IBP Order Based Planning, there's a certain number of customers for which we manage their inventories. The point is that by using Deployment Running is needed create confirmed sales order instead a STR or STO (in order-based those customers have a location -plus stocks and forecast assigned- but in S4 are just customers). Is that possible?

Well Irmhild as already answered your question and SO creation in deployment is not Possible.

You said "customers have a location -plus stocks" : Can you please explain what do you exactly mean by this.May be more details.

The point is that for those customers, the data corresponding to stocks and sales (sell out) is in other platform. So, through a manual integration of this data, IBP Order Based can calculate a recommended distribution receipt, but assigned to a Location that in fact does'nt exist in S/4. Thus, my idea is to use that distribution receipt as a sales order in S/4 for these customers, and after just execute a standard sales process.
