Hi,
We have noticed that someone changed Product master data but unfortunately we could not track it. There seems to be no audit tracking available for master data changes. It is there for key figures but not master data. Does anyone know if a functionality exists?

Zeeshan

Hi Zeeshan,
You can track changes to attribute values in a master data by defining the corresponding attributes as personal data in the Master Data Types app.
Please note that SAP does not recommend using this feature to track general changes to a master data type because of performance issues.

Hi Zeeshan,
There is a trick. If you are good with CPI-DS or if you have good CPI-DS consultant, you can import changed on, created on fields and keep on adding them in a file. Then you can track the changes being done to the Master Data. You can schedule the data flow once in an hour and record only the unique data which is involved in the changes. It is all about precise configuration of data flow.
