Hi All
I have requirement where I need to perform a calculation that will take into inputs no of subperiods and based on that give me the coverage value in quantity. This is something which should work exactly the opposite of what IBP_COVERAGE function does.
The value that I am looking for is presently available in the standard output KF ADDITIONALLOTSIZEDEMAND, but the issue is eternal that at aggregate level it will just follow the aggregation mode like sum or AVG.
Is their any standard function available yet ? If yes then what is the function ? If no is their any plan for these to come in the future release ? Or should I go to COFLUNCE portal to request that ?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi All
Thanks for the inputs.I will raise a request in confluence as well.
Since I didn't had much time so I developed the solution using VBA macros and put that macro in the IBP VBA hooks. Still now it is working fine without any additional runtime or performance impact in the planning view.
But in the future when no of objects and time series will increase it will have some performance issue.

Please check the SAPIBP roadmap, this feature is coming in IBP2102 using a function.

Hi Ayan,
This requirement looks absolutely great. Just in case a question.. Are you going to receive the Coverage Qty and Coverage Period for each period of the planning horizon? Or is it for a specific period? Please confirm back to help you with my research based inputs.

Riyaz

Hi Riyaz
Please consider that we will have the coverage period uniform, over the entire horizon. Which means the value will be updated in an attribute in LOCPROD MDT and from their we will use attribute as KF to display the value in planning view and also use copy operator to cop that same value to the SUBPERIODOFSUPPLY KF.
Hi,
I would suggest to raise this request to customer influence portal.
