IBP integration with Business ByDesign

Hello Experts!

I am looking around for advises on how to connect SAP IBP to Business ByDesign. I was not able to find much documentation online, so I hope you will be able to assist with the following questions:

1. Can we connect both systems directly trough CPI? For inbound and outboud interfaces?

2. Can we read and extract ByD table contents directly from CPI? Or is it only possible via Web Services?

3. What challenges can we expect vs a more standard integration project with S/4?

4. How easy it is to adapt our integration model if our customer decides to move on S/4 later on? Is the tables structure close enough so we can replicate most of our integration tasks?
