【IBP】How can I get it back?

Hello, I am looking for a solution to a problem I am having.

I am verifying the operation using data from SAP Best Practices for SAP Integrated Business Planning for Supply Chain (IBP2205).

I made a mistake in entering the wrong value in the following step.

IBP for sales and operations - supply review - heuristic (2BS)

4 Review Supply Planning Input Parameters"

5 Review the Inventory Target key figures and edit the Safety Stock Adjusted (from SOP) key figure according to your requirement.

So, when I deleted the values in "Safety Stock Adj. (from SOP)" and saved the data, the values in "Stock on Hand", "Inventory Target" and "Safety Stock (SOP)" also disappeared.

Can you please tell me how to restore them?

Or how do I start over with "IBP for sales and operations - supply review - heuristic (2BS)"?

Thank you in advance.

Hello.

This event has been resolved by "In the Run S&OP Operator Once dialog box. select Time-Series-Based Forecast Consumption as the Planning Operator." as described in the section "(3RT) IBP for sales and operations - time-series-based forecast consumption".

Thank you.

Dear Mr. Rahul.

Thank you for your suggestion.

I will answer your question.

1.How did you delete the Safety Stock Adjusted (from SOP) key figure ?

⇒I deleted (blanked) the entire line with the value and saved it.

The procedure is as shown in the attached screen shot.

2.When was "Stock on hand" loaded last time?

⇒This is when you enter and save data incorrectly.

At what time bucket level are you planning ? daily/weekly/ Monthly

⇒ weekly.(probably...)

1.Enter mistake data.

2.Save data.

3.Delete the 18th row of data & Save.

Hi Kana Osawa,

The way you have described the problem, is not clear. Please answer following questions:

1. How did you deleted the Safety Stock Adjusted (from SOP) key figure ?

2. When was "Stock on hand" loaded last time?

3. At what time bucket level you are planning ? daily/weekly/ Monthly

These answer to above question would help anyone to decipher your problem easily.

For sure, the Inventory Target is related to Safety Stock Adjusted (from SOP), hence it is getting deleted but that has nothing to do with Stock On hand. Stock On Hand is only available in initial bucket. As you roll into new bucket of planning, you need to load a fresh Stock on Hand for that bucket.

This is the first time I have asked a question here.

Please let me know if there are any points I have not covered.

Thank you in advance.
