IBP Heuristic

Is there anyway to run the IBP Time-Series Heuristic using a key figure other than consensus fcst? We have a copy of the forecast from a month ago in a different key figure and would like to use that as the input.

Hi Susan,

I guess you can go into 'Settings for TS Supply Planning' App and change the Keyfigure to the desired Keyfigure. I never tried this option though, yet I think you can customize the keyfigure setting against the Business Meaning.

1. Take a backup of Consensus forecast into different KF if require.

2. use a copy operator to copy new KF into consensus forecast

3. Run Heuristic

4. If require, then restore consensus forecast KF again.

We were hoping to be able to avoid the copying of key figures and just point the heuristic to a different key figure. As I don't see a parameter for this in the heuristic job, my assumption was it couldn't be done but was just checking to see if anyone else had a way to work around this.

I am not aware of any other workaround. I have never used below but please check if below offers any flexibility.
