IBP Formatting Sheet

If I attempt to do formatting on dimension "Year", it will only work if I have the year on only one line of the Time Settings. For example, From = 2020 and To = 2021. If, as I want the years to be displayed in descending order, I enter two lines in the Time Settings, the first for From = 2021 and To = 2021 and the next line for From = 2020 and To = 2020, the formatting no longer is applied. Does anyone know how to work around this?

Hi Susan,

To better understand your problem could you please attach a screenshot of the IBP formatting sheet where exactly you are trying to make these changes as it is working for me. See attachments time-period-multiple-lines.pngyear-formatting-des.png (Please note I have format year dimension with 'Pink' color)

Hello Gourav,

Thank you for your response. I have attached a series of screenshots. The first shows the planning view time period set up with all the years on one line. This is followed by the formatting sheet and then the results - formatted as expected. I then show that I split the time periods to two lines and the resulting view no longer had any formatting applied.

Hi Susan,

Thanks for sharing the information. Is it important for you to format years with different colors or same color formatting will also work for you?

Best Regards,
