Hi SAP Community,
I was configuring the Excel UI of templates in SAP IBP through the EPM Formatting Sheet and I know we can have borders to split specific members.
Following the procedure mentioned in the SAP Help Portal (Formatting Specific Member and Property Values - SAP Help Portal), we can split different Products IDs having a multiple selections.
But this doesn't work if I select "All" product IDs:
I would like to have these separators for all products.
I cannot do the same with Key Figures as specific member because, when the user add or remove some KFs, the template becomes a messy
Like in this example:
Can this be possible?
Thank you,
Anita

Hi Anita,
What I did is to format the border only in the first key figure of each template and inform the users not to remove or move it. They can still able to add or remove other key figures under that.
Note: This will be messy if you have the same key figure with format in multiple sheets because the formatting is done at template level. Try to rearrange and format only those required key figures in the template or else move it to different template.
If this is not applicable, you might need to write some special Macros.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Sittinut R.

Hi Rajesh,
I cannot select each Product ID.
The list of Product IDs evolves over time, it should be dynamic.
Thank you,
Anita
Hi Anita,
I would recommend to change your approach slightly by unchecking "Repeat Header Rows" in settings of Excel add-in.
Also, please add the same formatting for the other planning attributes whichever is visible in your view. Example: "Ship From Loc ID".
As you are placing these borders/separator, users will not require to see the repeated values of the planning attributes, I assume.
Hope this helps.

Hi Rahul,
"Repeat Header Rows" was already unchecked and, adding also another planning attribute, it doesn't work.
Consider that they would like to have the separator for each Product IDs, but I cannot select each product because the list of products evolves over time. We would have a dynamic rule if possible.
