IBP - Fail to activate planning area

Hello guys,

I am facing an issue when try to activate IBP planning area. The errors I get are:

- calculation KF@planninglevel: Output PL attr. must be the union of the input PL attr

- and calculation KF@planninglevel: Attribute XXX is not available from any input.

The first error appears when I try to calculate DEPENDENTDEMANDQTY@LOCPRODCUSTWEEKLY = "DEPENDENTDEMANDQTY@LOCPRODCUSTWEEKLYNOATTR" .
How can I overcome this error because planning level LOCPRODCUSTWEEKLY consists root and non-root attributes, while LOCPRODCUSTWEEKLYNOATTR consists only of the root attributes. Can I use some other function or should I define the key figure somehow else?

Regarding second series of errors - I don't know why the attributes are not available from any input since they are already added to the respective master data types (location, product, customer). What should I do?

As you can see from the screenshots attached the planning level is LOCPRODCUSTWEEKLY, while the base planning level for the key figure DependentDemandQty is SALESITEMLOCPRODCUSTWEEKLY (which consists of the same attributes + the attributes for the sales item - SIHEADERPRODUCT).

There is an attribute transformation where the value of SALESITEMPRDID is put to PRDID in the transformed planning level TRANSSALESITEMLOCPRODCUSTWEEK.

Any help on both issues will be highly appreciated!

Hi Julian,

calculation KF@planninglevel: Output PL attr. must be the union of the input PL attr is mandatory requirement for key figure calculation.

So you need to have the all attributes of the output available in the Input planning level(Or vice versa as well) i.e. it includes root attributes as well as non root attributes. Please add the missing attributes and activate the planning area.

Second error is due to missing attributes in the input. Hope once you add the necessary attributes to the input Planning level, this will get corrected automatically.

Revan

Hi,

I would suggest to check planning levels attributes selection once again.
