I am experience a strange behaviour in the Excel add-in for IBP. Here is the scenario
A Product description has been created in ECC in mixed case. In this example, the description contained the letters Mg. In subsequent days, the masterdata was updated in ECC to be MG.
Whilst the master data in IBP updated to reflect this, the excel add-in remained as Mg.
However, if I made a significant change to the masterdata (I added a 1 at the beginging) then the fully updated description with MG appeared in excel.
To make this more mind-blowing, when I removed the 1, the case went back to Mg.
It wouldn't be a huge issue, but for the fact that the case sensitivity means that the planning object cannot be found, and so causes an error in the excel add in when updating a key figure.
