IBP Excel Add-In wrapping dynamic EPM header line text

Hi community,

is it possible to wrap the headler lines which are getting dynamically loaded via EPM function, e.g. long names for key figures in case one puts the keyfigures on the column axis?

I wasn't able to find an EPM based feature which persistently keeps the wrap text function.

Any trick is welcome.

Hi Peter,

you may try to format the Header section for Default Format in the Column Area as a “Wrap Text” in the IBPFormattingSheet (Called EPMFormattingSheet before 2005 release), then increase the height of the row which contains the headers in the Planning View Sheet so two or more row of text would fit into it. You may adjust the width of the columns if it is already extended to fit the key figure texts.

Hi Balazs,

I was actually able to persistenly apply the wrapping functionality. The trick was to apply the setting for the "Default format" of the header line and not the header line of the respective key figure entry which I added in addtion to adjusting the row height and not the column width.

The result is not 100% as desired due to some smaller automatic adjustments of the column width but nevertheless it's now very close to it. That should suffice for our purpose.
