IBP Data Integration Job Log

Hi All,

We are facing a strange issue with Data Integration job log. I am uploading Delivery master data from Data Integration Job tile. File consists of 30K plus records. After few seconds, job completes and the log says 0 records successful and total records under rejected records.

Error message is "Error when processing attribute as key figure: PA XXXX; attribute DELIVQTY."

Data load was first delete then Insert/Update mode.

Upon verifying this data in excel, strangely i can see all the records exists correctly.

For other master data, job log shows the correct information but only for Delivery and Sales Order master data log is incorrect.

As concerning the data, i dont have any complaints. So can we ignore this log or some attention is needed?

Hi Ivan/Ankur,

We are also facing similar issue but the difference is Sales Order and Delivery MD jobs finished with warnings and there are around 10K rejected records out of 90K. Error message is "Error when processing attribute as key figure: PA XX; attribute DELIVQTY."

Just want to understand if the same note (Note#2694269) applies in this case also as 90% records are successful and only 10% are rejected.

Hi Divya,

The master data that contains the attribute as the key figure must be able to provide all root level attributes (not considering the time dimension) for the base planning level where the key figure is stored.

The root attributes of the base planning level are – CUSTID/DELIVERY/DELIVERYITEM/LOCID/PRDID/SOLDTO

Because the root attributes of the master data do not match the root attributes of the base planning level, the validation check captures this situation which was added in 1808 release. Hence in this type of configuration, the key figure cannot be updated of the attribute in the master data.

To resolve this error issue, Uncheck the checkbox under the 'Key Figure' column in the Attribute as a Key Figure section of the Planning area for that Attribute (Delivery) and re-activate the planning area. If you require data to be in the key figure, you will have to load data into the key figure directly.
