IBP- Customer receipts

Hi Experts,

After the heuristic run, the Customer receipt numbers are only 55% of Consensus Demand. The sourcing ratio are fine and cant figure out any MD setting is impacting the demand. Can someone help me what i am missing here?

Sorry for the late response and thanks a lot for trying to help on my issue. I have been checking at MD and relevant KF's but the S&OP operator was set to run at monthly level which i didn't look at. As i changed it to week from month, the results are fine.

please check below parameters.

1. Master Data: Verify the accuracy and completeness of your master data. Inaccurate or incomplete master data, such as product codes, customer details, or lead times, can lead to discrepancies between planned customer receipts and actual demand. Validate the master data and ensure it reflects the current state of your business.

2. Planning Parameters: Review the planning parameters used in your heuristic run. These parameters determine how the planning algorithm optimizes the allocation of supply and demand. Ensure that the parameters are set appropriately for your business scenario and requirements. Adjusting parameters like safety stock levels, service level targets, or demand prioritization can have an impact on the customer receipt numbers.

3. Constraints and Rules: Evaluate any constraints or rules defined in your planning model that may be limiting the customer receipt numbers. Examples include minimum order quantities, maximum production capacities, transportation constraints, or allocation rules. Verify if any such constraints are affecting the allocation of supply and demand.

bkreddyAlthough it is very hard to determine without taking a look into the customer source, location source and PSH MDT, but please check the following

1) If you have maintained any values in the adjusted KFs both upstream and downstream

2) Check if thier is any max lotsize maintained in the customer source, location source and PSH MDT.

3) Also check the KF Dependent customer demand and see if the sum total of all source values are equal to consensus dermand or not.

If all the above are ok, please share screenshots of the customer source, location source and PSH MDT
