IBP Custom Alerts-Monitor Custom Alert-GoTo Excel not working

I'm using the Excel Addin Version 1905.3.0 Using Chrome for IBP Launchpadand I'm using Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 Excel 2013 64 bit when I select the Go To Excel option in the Monitor Custom Alerts (as per below snapshot)

almost immediately a csv file opens up (as per below)

I thought that by selecting the GoTo the MSExcel template used in the Custom Alert would open up. If that is not the case can you please advice how I should use the csv file that is generated?

Hi Roberto,

This option is used to quickly navigate to IBP Excel UI. Open the alert file in MS Excel. If you have SAP IBP Excel add-in installed, it will open the planning view template to which alert is assigned. Planning view template assignment is done while defining a custom alert in Define and Subscribe to Custom Alerts fiori app. Please refer below SAP Help for more details:
