Hi,
Currently business is maintaining CAPACONSUMPTION in master data only. Now the requirement is to add a time dimension to it. so i tried to create this attribute as a key figure but its not showing the data in key figure view. any additional settings i need to do to populate the master data values to key figure across the horizon?

Thanks in advance

Hi ckiran92 ,
IBP supply planning algorithm recognizes key figure PCAPACONSUMPTION and not CAPACONSUMPTION for Capacity Consumption Rate of Production Resource (considering CAPACONSUMPTIONTS flag is maintained)
If you want to maintain capacity consumption in form of attribute as key figure, create attribute as key figure (say ZCAPACONSUMPTION) in location resource master data, populate X against CAPACONSUMPTIONTS, run a copy operator to copy values from KF ZCAPACONSUMPTION to PCAPACONSUMPTION.

Hello all,
We manage to get it working properly now. The solution for creating a CAPACONSUMPTION Attribute as Key Figure is creating a Planning Level WK RES SRC.
Since the Key attributes in Master Data Production Source Resource (where CAPACONSUMPTION is found) are Source ID and Resource ID, it worked when we created the PL and assigned to the Att as KF.
Planning Level created:

Create the Att as KF with the new PL:

After activating, we cleared all data in CAPACONSUMPTION master data attribute and enter them once again. After saving, the new KF worked perfectly:

Hello Kiran Kumar,
I'm having the same issue. I want to make a new KF where is shown how much material by Resource was produced. For that, I will need to replicate the CAPACONSUMPTION for my planning horizon. Did you find any solution for your problem?

Hi Piyush, Lingaiah,
Thanks to both for your response. I want to understand why is the CAPACONSUMPTION attribute when converted to attribute as a key figure is not working. Any additional settings needs to be done? Business is maintaining time series X for few products only(not sure on the business reason) but we need this in time dimension for other system integration.
Thanks,
Kiran

Hi,
You can maintain the capacity consumption in time dimension, in order to enable this feature follow the below steps.

Hi,
If you want to maintain capacity consumption rate for production resource in form of key figure, mark CONSUMPTIONTS attribute to X and use key figure PCAPACONSUMPTION to maintain capacity consumption rate for production resources.
