IBP Available Attributes in Master Data integration through SDI

Hi all,

We are using SDI to integrate data from SAP ECC to IBP Planning Area (Response PA).

In SAP in table /IBP/MARC_EXT we can see field Special Procurement Key /IBP/MARC_EXT-SOBSL.

But in IBP Configuration, in Master Data definition, we can’t choose this field as Referenced Column for one attribute.

The same for Plant-Specific Material Status /IBP/MARC_EXT-MMSTA.

Is there any way to have these fields integrated to IBP Response without the need to use custom attributes?

Thanks!

Hello Carlos

table /IBP/MARC_EXT contains many fields and 12 additional feilds for custom attribute mapping. So Special Procurement Key /IBP/MARC_EXT-SOBSL is alos a part of it as this table represents MARC table for IBP. Since you are using response that means you are dealing with external MD as resposne only supports external MD.

Fields like SPK or Plant-Specific Material Status have no functional role to play in response apart from using them as a restriction criteria in your selection filter. Hence you will any Referenced Column for those feilds.

Now I am assuming that you need this feilds for selection filter or slicing and dicing data in the planing view. In that case even if you refer to SMD_MALO or SMD_MALO_S data source you wont get any reference for Special Procurement Key. So the only way to use it is to map it with any of the available custom attribute and then use that in response.

Also thier are few BADI in ECC that might create a refrence coloumn for Special Procurement Key.
