Hi,
We are implementing IBP Demand, and we have doubts regarding Planning Objects creation.
Our planning level is very detailed: Product – Sales Organization – Location - … At this same level we upload the history.
But we don’t have such a detailed level of compound master data.
For products with history planning object creation is automatic, as soon as history is uploaded creation happens.
But for new products without history we would like to automatize the creation.
The only way we found to create planning objects in an automatic way is with APP for Product Lifecycle, what is correct if this new item is going to substitute an old item.
But what about new products that are not substituting other products, how is it expected to create Planning Objects for this new item?
Best Regards,

Hi,
You can also use Realignment to copy and initialize planning objects from a reference product to a new product.
Thanks,
Sandy

HI Carlos Perez,
There are many ways to create the Planning objects automatically.
One of them uses an attribute as a key figure in your compound master data. Default values with 1 in this AAKF (CPI consultant can do it). So in this case for a new product when you load the master data then Planning objects get created automatically.
Thanks and Regards,
Lokesh

Hi,
you can create planning objects that aren't based on reference products on the Forecast Dates screen.
